FBI 10 Most Wanted You can help prevent crime by staying aware of potential threats, and by recognizing individuals deemed most dangerous by the nation's law enforcement agencies.  Make sure you can recognize the FBI's most wanted fugitives, terrorists and persons of interest. 
US Marshals 15 Most Wanted The U.S. Marshals Service also maintains lists of the 15 Most Wanted, Major Case Fugitives and other Profiled Fugitives.   Additional federal MOST WANTED lists are available from BATF, DEA, USPS, and U.S. Secret Service.  Listings of fugitives MOST WANTED by individual U.S. states are referenced at mostwanted.org.  For lists of fugitives wanted internationally, check Interpol.
Neighborhood Watch Program Get involved!  You and your neighbors can help prevent crime in your area through the National Sheriffs' Association Neighborhood Watch.  Join or create a Neighborhood Watch Program in your area now.  The National Crime Prevention Council has helpful tips on starting and maintaining a neighborhood watch program in your area.
Registered Sex Offenders in your Area Violent sex offenders are on the streets and you have the right to know where they live!  Find out free from the FBI database or from the newly established DOJ National Sex Offender Public Registry.
National Crime Prevention Council The National Crime Prevention Council is the nation's focal point for crime prevention.  They have numerous on-line publications on the topics of safety, crime preventions and preparedness Topics in Crime Prevention.
Federal Trade Commission Identity theft is a serious crime.  The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) have put together much information on preventing and recovering from identity theft.
